In celebration of HSHC’s 35 years of service to the community, we’re releasing a limited-edition anniversary merch!
But this is about more than celebrating our history. It’s about helping us keep moving forward.
Our transport van plays a vital role in our mission, from getting animals to veterinary appointments to supporting adoptions and community outreach. Right now, we need your help getting back on the road.
For $35, you’ll receive a commemorative anniversary shirt, sticker, special art piece from one of our animals and $25 from every purchase will go directly toward our van fund.
It’s a little piece of HSHC history that makes a big difference for the animals counting on us. ❤️
Our van has traveled 270,000+ miles serving our animals and our community. But after all those miles, our van is costing more in repairs than it's worth, we’re at a point where we need something more reliable, suitable, and comfortable for the staff, volunteers, and animals who depend on it.
Right now, with our van down, staff and volunteers are using their personal vehicles to transport community cats for our TNR program, as well as our animals to adoption events and important veterinary appointments. Even hosting vaccine clinics out of multiple personal vehicles. We’re raising funds to get our current van back on the road while also beginning a longer-term fundraiser for a more reliable replacement. Because a vehicle isn’t our mission — but it’s one of the things that makes our mission possible. If you’d like to help us keep these animals moving, every donation makes a difference.

Our impact reaches far beyond finding homes for animals in our care. We strive to be a vital resource for our community. Through outreach programs, foster care and work with community partners, we work every day to create a lasting change. Our goal is not only to save lives, but to strengthen the bond between people and pets and to build a more compassionate community
" Hannah Spraggins and I adopted him today at PetSmart and he is already living his best life with our kiddos and our other two doggies we have come up with the name Draco for him as we are Harry Potter fans, he is such a sweet soul and loves relaxing and being cuddled. Wanted to thank the staff as they made his adoption process very easy and had plenty of information and loving words describing him." - Zack Spraggins
