They can be running buddies or couch potatoes. They have likes and dislikes, opinions, and personalities all their own. They are an incredible and
diverse group of dogs and one of them could be
perfect as your new best friend.
Meet Clifford!
At HSofHC our longest stay resident is Clifford, and he is so ready to find his forever home. On October 6, 2024, Clifford will have been at the shelter for 2 years. Please share Clifford's information, as we would love to have a new home for him before 10/6/24.
Clifford is currently in foster and loving the farm life. He is just over 3 years old. He is very well adjusted around livestock, his favorite friends include the barn cat and the foster's 4 dogs. He loves to ride in the side by side, and he loves to splash around in the lake.
One of Clifford's strongest attributes is his attachment to the people he loves. He would be an excellent Emotional Therapy Dog, as he always looks to his handler for instruction. He is very treat motivated and takes instruction very well. He’s a quick learner. Not only is Clifford housetrained and used to a doggy door, but he is also crate trained. He accepts most other dogs, but would prefer NO alpha dogs in the house.
