Memorial and Honor Donations

A donation to the Humane Society of Harris County is a thoughtful way to honor someone's birthday or other important milestone.  Your gift can be in memory of a departed family member, friend or beloved pet.  Upon receipt of your gift HSHC will send a card to the honoree or family acknowledging the gift 

Recurring Donations

Your monthly donations help form a predictable source of income that HSHC can depend on to fund services and further our goals. Recurring donations are the keystone of our financial well being. Choose the frequency and amount and your donation will be paid to HSHC with the initial date of the gift being the anniversary date. You may change or suspend your gift at any time.

Employee Gift Matches

Employers through out the area as well as national companies encourage their employees to consider charitable giving by offering a corporate gift that matches the employee's gift.  Support can be a financial match or a gift based on the employee's volunteer hours provided to the non-profit agency. An employee may also contact their company's Human Resources Department to see if a Matching Gift Program is offered.

sponsor a dog or cat

Not able to adopt but wish to offer direct support to the animals in HSHC's care?  Sponsoring a dog or cat's daily care, extreme medical expenses or adoption fee is a great way direct your donation dollars to an animal or the animals of your choice.  A one time gift of $75 can be applied to an adoption fee or a recurring monthly donation of $50 can be applied to ongoing care.  A recurring gift can also be rolled to another dog or cat once the original animal has found their forever home. Recognition of your support is noted on the sponsored animal's on-line profile.

Check donations are accepted by mail at the HSHC Adoption Center. The address is 3938 Barnes Mill Road, Hamilton, GA 31811. For questions or to make a donation by phone please call 706.582.3007.  Hours of operation are 10 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday and 11 am to 4 pm on Saturdays.
